On 28 January 2026, the SEAMEO TROPMED Network and Alchemy Education Solutions officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) through an online signing ceremony, marking the beginning of a collaborative partnership in education, digital innovation, and capacity development.
The MoU was signed on behalf of the SEAMEO TROPMED Network by Dr. Pratap Singhasivanon, Secretary-General/Coordinator, with Dr. Sandra Tempongko joining the ceremony as a representative of the Network. Representatives from Alchemy Education Solutions also participated in the virtual signing ceremony, reaffirming their shared commitment to future collaboration.
The partnership provides a framework for cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including educational technology, digital learning, professional development, and the application of innovative technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance teaching and learning. Both organizations will also explore opportunities to jointly develop training programmes, knowledge-sharing activities, and other initiatives that support educators, students, and professionals across the region.
